Grace,

I just LOVE the idea you had to use the opera music in regard to the tantrum problem. I think it's classic that she then went on to make operatic sounds during tantrums... before discontinuing having them.

Also, like you said, she learned about opera music in the process!

What a perfect way to mask her tantrum sounds (to keep your sanity) at tantrum time, expose her to music she probably hadn't been exposed to before that, and possibly even soothe her during those tantrums with the music itself.

What a smart idea!

My daughter is eight and she plays electronic keyboard, organ, and piano. This year at school she also learned recorder in music class. She just signed up to take the flute starting next year at school. (She'll keep playing piano, which she started at age 4 after showing an unusual attraction to pianos). We're so glad we got her into lessons early because she really has a natural gift when it comes to music. (At least that's what her piano teacher and school music teacher keep telling us).

Any solution to a problem that involves music plays well in this house. :)

Hi,

I would like to contribute to this knowledge:

The images of streaming arise through repeatment.
What is already there is being lined up with.
The flow flows with the flow.
The flow may consist of somethings, such as watermolecules, but the flow might also flow through or around visible subjects.
Life energy captured in movement-stills:
Drawing different kinds of streaming lines, eventually choosing from many kinds of fashions, techniques and materials, strongly contributes to ones ability to connect with ones inner intelligence and power.
See, on Youtube; Channel Yatnomoyo the slideshow-movie Stream for a movie full of images of streaming. Seeing these images will help you start experiencing energy, the energy that connects worlds; creates worlds. After this you will be inspired enough too continue independently. Maybe with drawing, sketching or visualisations.
Bye! YatnoMoyo.
