I think it's classic that she then went on to make operatic sounds during tantrums... before discontinuing having them. Also, like you said, she learned about opera music in the process! What a perfect way to mask her tantrum sounds (to keep your sanity) at tantrum time, expose her to music she probably hadn't been exposed to before that, and possibly even soothe her during those tantrums with the music itself.
